Cir Mark Of A Queen Garners Top Qualifying Time For Wyoming Downs Futurity

EVANSTON, WY—JULY 27, 2014—Cir Mark Of A Queen raced to a nose win over Cg Motorboaten in the last of five trials contested Sunday afternoon for the Wyoming Downs Futurity in Evanston. The speedy pair ended with the top two qualifying marks on the day.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to the Wyoming racetrack on Sunday, August 10 and vie for the winner' share of a $10,000-added purse over 350 yards.

Cir Mark Of A Queen was the first of four Wyoming Futurity finalists for trainer Chancey Spencer and jockey Tyson Lusk.

Owned by her breeder Gary Robinson, Cir Mark Of A Queen completed the 350 yards in a quick :17.594 seconds, to record a 108 speed index. The brown filly is a daughter of stakes sire Mark My Dial from the Stylus mare Cir Queen Of Style. She is has compiled at (5) 2-1-0 record this season and was a finalist in the Utah Bred Futurity earlier this month.

Gg Motorboaten entered the trials off a second place finish July 6th in the aforementioned $32,475 Utah Bred Futurity at Wyoming Downs. Ridden today by Daniel Carillo, the SS Showboat gelding held on to the second fastest qualifying time of :17.612, a 107 speed index.

Gary Goodrich conditions the brown gelding, out of Cool Summer Flo by Hollywoodbobs Summer, for breeder Goodrich Quarter Horses. Cg Motorboaten has a (5) 1-2-1 record and earnings of $7,731.
