AJAX, ONT—SEPTEMBER 1, 2014—In June Jumping Guitar was a 1˝ length winner for a $10,000 tag at Fair Meadows in Oklahoma. Today the Tac It Like a Man filly scored her fourth consecutive win and got her second futurity victory in the $115,326(US) Alex Picov Memorial Futurity at Ajax Downs.

Under a confident ride from jockey Chelsey Willick Jumping Guitar went wire-to-wire while completing the 400 yards in :20.290 seconds, a 90 speed index. The $42,821(US) winner's purse swelled the bay miss' earnings total to $60,592.

Owned and trained by Nadia Marcoux Jumping Guitar was also 1˝ length winner in the $24,850 John Deere Ajax Juvenile Challenge on July 20. Scoring her second stakes win today could make her a probable favorite in the $150,000-Guaranteed John Deere Juvenile Challenge Championship(G2) at Prairie Meadows on October 18.

A. Roche and Margaret and Sue Kreins bred the filly in Oklahoma from the Corona Cartel mare Shine My Guitar. She was a $7,500 Heritage Place September Sales graduate.

Fastest qualifier Arizona Bennie dueled throughout but settled for second place, a neck behind the winner. Greg Watson trains the Iced N Oak gelding for owner/breeder Full Circle Racing. Shanley Jackson had the riding call to pickup $24,168(US) for the effort.

Also trained by Watson, Waving Sandy Home finished three-quarters back in the show position for owner Richard Laszlo. Sandra Laszlo bred the Wave Carver filly in Ontario from the Down Home Dash mare Driving Annie Home. Ridden by Aron Hunt the brown miss earned $12,084(US).

Selective Memory, Cause Im Dancing, Chik Flick, Im Aquicktrick, Flying Secrets, Fiesty Icon and Jessastonecoldcorona completed the field.
