RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM—MAY 29, 2015— Lilly Is First destroyed her rivals by two lengths in the seventh of 10 trials to the $337,145 Mountain Top New Mexico-Bred Futurity at Ruidoso Downs and posted the top-qualifying time of :17.461 for 350 yards on Friday afternoon.

The horses with the 10-fastest times from the trials qualify for the futurity on June 13.

A $52,000 Ruidoso Downs New Mexico-Bred Sale purchase, the First Moonflash filly was making her career debut in the Mountain Top trials for trainer Mike Joiner. Bred by Mike Abraham, Lilly Is First is out of the Corona Cartel mare Lilly Cartel.
