Executive Trust Drives To Victory in King Rick Rack Stakes

HOBBS, NM—NOVEMBER 22, 2015—Executive Trust drove to his third consecutive stakes victory Sunday with a one-length effort over Fire On The Fly in the $55,180 King Rick Rack Stakes at Zia Park. Famous Edge Of Glory finished 1½ lengths back in the show position.

Ridden by jockey Ruby Gonzalez, Executive Trust covered the 870 yards in :44.847 seconds, a 101 speed index, to pick up the $33,000 King Rick Rack winner's purse.

Guadalupe Munoz, Jr. conditions the 4-year-old son of Executive Menace for owner Sherree Meridyth. Bred in Texas by Scarlett Hill Farm, Inc., Executive Trust has won nine of 19 career starts and earned $214,017.

Tommy Bullard saddled Bullard Farms' homebred Fire On The Fly to his second place effort. The Jet Cartel gelding, from the Fight Over (TB) mare Shades Of Pink (TB), earned $12,100 for his effort. Esgar Ramirez rode the graded stakes winner of $146,956.

Famous Edge Of Glory picked up $5,500 for owner Richard Ford and trainer Lonnie Vaughn. Irwin Rosendo rode the One Famous Eagle gelding. Gary and Patty Petersen bred Famous Edge Of Glory in Texas from the Royal Shake Em mare Shake Em Rita Ballou.

Completing the field were Jessa Little Rusty, Emperor Valerian, Cjs Rocksolid, Youvebeenhenried and Droppin Timber.
