Dtl Samureye Posts Top Mark In PSBA American Paint Classic Futurity(G1) Trials

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 14, 2017—Dtl Samureye broke his maiden Friday night in the second of four trials contested at Remington Park for the PSBA American Paint Classic Futurity(G1).

The son of leading paint sire SF Royal Quick Flash was a half-length winner under jockey Jesus Salazar while completing the 350 yards in :18.218 seconds, the fastest qualifying time.

Matthew Cody McCart conditions the 2-year-old homebred for owner/breeders Tonya and Dean Lester. Dtl Royal Quick Flash is out of the Mr Eye Opener (QH) mare Eysa Savvy Queen.

SF Royal Quick Flash sired half the field and Crm Livewrire got four qualifiers.

Remington Park’s 2017 American Quarter Horse Season continues with a shortened week of activity on April 13-15. The first race nightly is at 6pm-Central. There will be no live racing on Easter Sunday, April 16.
