Masons Moon Sets Top Mark in SVLAC Futurity Trials

SOUTH JORDAN, UT—MAY 27, 2017—Masons Moon defeated Krash Your Party by a neck in the first of three trials Saturday for the SVLAC Futurity to set the fastest qualifying time at Laurel Brown Racetrack.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to Laurel Brown on Saturday, June 17th to vie for the winner's share of a yet to be announced purse going 330 yards.

Alan Miramontes rode Masons Moon his career debut to complete the 330-yard course in :16.859 seconds, a 103-speed index.

Trainer Luis Gonzalez conditions the New Mexico daughter of champion and champion sire First Moonflash for owner Kenia Pinela Marioni. Mike Abraham bred the brown filly from the Mr Jess Perry mare Ms Perry Mason.

Still winless in two starts this season Krash Your Party held on to the second fastest time of :16.899 seconds. Ricardo Castillo saddled the son of first crop sire Krash Cartel out of Hasta La Veesta by Brimmerton.

BNB Racing Inc. is the owner and Jesus Valenzuela was riding. Triple K Farms is the breeder.
