Wagonfullofdividends Dominant in Rocky Mountain Spring Classic Futurity

POCATELLO, ID—MAY 29, 2017—Daylight separated Wagonfullofdividends ($5.80) from the rest of the field in the $40,000 Rocky Mountain Spring Classic Futurity at Pocatello Downs on Monday and sent trainer Mark Hanson and jockey Eddie Aceves to the winner’s circle for the second time in two stakes races.

Wagonfullofdividends covered the 330 yards in 16.652 to earn a 110 speed index.

Bred in Texas by Randy and Sandy Coleman, Wagonfullofdividends was the second-fastest qualifier from five trials held on May 14. He won his trial and his career debut by over three lengths before winning the final by two lengths. The colt is now two for two for owner RTM Stables LLC and Shauna Dunn, who also owned Cartels Jubalee, the second-place finisher in the BetAmerica Maiden Challenge earlier on the card.

Wagonfullofdividends is by Pyc Paint Your Wagon, out of stakes-placed mare Ms Athenas Dividend, by Brimmerton.

There was no catching the winner today, but Royallittlewagon led the rest of the pack by a neck, finishing in 16.956 and earning a 99 speed index. Owned by Enrico Rozo, trained by Skyler Greene, and ridden by Jesus Oruna, Royallittlewagon was the fourth-fastest qualifier and won his trial by half a length.

The daughter of first crop sire Paintyourownwagon was bred in Idaho by Enrique Rojo, out of the Royal Shake Em mare Royal Lil Strike.

Finishing by a nose for third was Pcr Mad Version, a Utah filly bred by Katie Torgerson and owned by Greg Torgerson. Pcr Mad Version was trained by Jere Brinkerhoff and ridden by Jesus Canales, who came home in :17.009 to earn a 98 speed index.

Pcr Mad Version is by Winners Version, out of Classy Sassy Anna by Separatist. She was the third-fastest qualifier following a blowout three-length finish in her trial. Pcr Mad Version debuted at Weber Downs in April, where she finished second by a nose.

Completing the field were Acadillac, Dashair Special, Miss Czech, Ms Southern Charm and Candy Secret. Classic Pearl Bc and Will He Be Quick were scratched.
