NEW ORLEANS, LA—SEPTEMBER 2, 2017—Multiple stakes winner B And G Fast Dash rolled to a two-length win in track record time Saturday in the $35,000 Faubourg St. Jones Stakes at Fairgrounds Racecourse in New Orleans.

Ridden by jockey Donald Watson, the 5-year-old son of leading sire Heza Fast Dash, completed the 870 yards in :44,986 seconds, 107 speed index into a 10 mph crosswind.

The previous 870 yard track record of :45,210 was set August 23, 2008 by First Down Toro.

Kenneth Roberts, Sr. saddled the winner for owners Mo Racing. Bred by B & G Group Investments Inc., B And G Fast Dash has compiled a (22) 8-2-5 record and today's $12,000 winners' purse pushed his earnings mark past $201,000.

He is out of the Gold Regent (TB) mare Rita Regent.

Game On, a stakes winning son of Game Patriot racing for owner Yaima Grillo and trainer Manuel Macias, earned $7,000 for second. Antonio Alberto rode the 6-year-old out of My Own Fortune by Six Fortunes. Kenneth Fletcher is the breeder.

Coming off a win in the Benny Pennington Memorial Stakes at Retama Park in July, Bet I Make U Famous finished 3-¼ lengths back in third. Trey Ellis conditions the One Famous Eagle gelding for owners Vernon Harman and Robert Moudy III.

Bred in Texas by James Markum and Robert Moudy, from the First Down Dash mare Lone Bet, Bet I Make U Famous earned $2,750 for the effort. Alfonso Lujan was riding.
