ROCK SPRINGS, WY—SEPTEMBER 4, 2017—Imma Make U Jealous rolled to a two-length win the first of two trials Sunday for the $10,000-added Claiming Futurity at Sweetwater Downs.
All horses running in the trials were entered for a claiming price of $15,000. If a horse is claimed, the new owner will retain all purse monies in the finals.
Owned by Denton Greene and trained by David Greene, Imma Make U Jealous picked up third win in six starts. Under jockey Oscar Cervantes, the Im Alright Now filly completed the 350 yards in :17.788 seconds to post the top qualifying time.
Jess R. Matt dropped a claim on the fastest qualifier as the new owner and trainer.
Out of Just A Bit Jealous by Imaginarium, Imma Make U Jealous entered the trials off a win in the Oneida County Fair Futurity Consolation. She broke her maiden in her first start, a trial for the Bucking Horse Futurity, but finished last after a troubled start. She has earned $2,875.
Spencer Chancey saddled Gonna Be A Factor to a one-length win in the second trial for owner/breeder A and C Racing and Roping to get the second fastest time of :17.798 seconds.
Uriel Dominguez was aboard the daughter of Gonna Ro Sham Bo. Out of the Dean Miracle mare Lethal Factor, Gonna Be A Factor broker her maiden in her last on August 12th at Wyoming Downs. She has earned $2,796.
Chancey also saddled the third and fifth fastest qualifiers.
The only other claim came in the second trial when trainer Diana Garfias dropped a claim on Cr Sweet Dynasty for owner Rigoberto Tovar. The FDD Dynasty filly finished last after lugging out at the start.
