CLAREMORE, OK—NOVEMBER 4, 2017—Hardtoget, under jockey James Flores, jumped out to quick lead then held off Ja Big Bad Gol to win the $37,500 Jerry Jaggars Memorial Stakes Saturday afternoon at Will Rogers Downs. Gronkowski finished another 1-¼ lengths back in third.

Saddled by trainer John Werghorst, Hardtoget raced over the 350 yards in :17.449 seconds, a 98-speed index, to pick up the winner's purse of $22,230.

Owned by Louis Malachek, III, the 4-year-olds daughter of multiple stakes sire Foose, has compiled a (14) 6-2-2 record and banked $72,555. Jim and Marilyn Helzer bred the bay filly in Oklahoma from the Corona Cartel mare Tiny Corona Queen.

Coming off a runner-up finish in the Grade 3 Dash For Cash Derby at Lone Star Park last month, Ja Big Bad Gol pocketed $7,410 for second. Miguel Bonuelos conditions the Gol gelding for owner Raul Banuelos, Jr.
