PHOENIX, AZ—NOVEMBER 26, 2017—Multiple stakes winner Fighter Gone Wild, under jockey Emilio Tapia, drew off from the field Sunday to win the $11,0000 Louie Curtis/Robert Kieckhefer Stakes (not black type) by 2-1/2 lengths at Turf Paradise.

Conditioned by Ubaldo Guerrero, Fighter On Fire completed the 350 yards in a quick :17.408 clocking to earn a 105-speed index and pocket the $6,752 winners' purse.

It was the third consecutive win for the Orlando Guerrero owned son of multiple stakes sire Fighter On Fire. Bred in Colorado by Tom Lichlyter, the sorrel gelding entered the race off a win in the American Flyer Stakes at Arapahoe Park last summer.

Out of the Mr Sailing Easy mare Wanna Know Now, Fighter Gone Wild has compiled a (20) 6-4-1 record and banked nearly $50,000.

I V Gone, a graded stakes winning son of Ivory James, finished second for owner Alma Ramos. Rigoberto Guillen saddled with Joseph Belloc, Jr. getting the riding call aboard the Oklahoma-bred out of Bye Bye Bygones by Takin On The Cash. L.P. Frank bred the earner of $183,505.

Conditioned by trainer John Allred, Domaine finished three-quarters back to earn $1,089 for third. Scott McDaniel owns the Bobby Cox Oklahoma-bred daughter of multiple stakes sire Dominyun from the Corona Cartel mare All N The Jeans. Ridden by Mark Jasso, the filly has earned $27,671 in three seasons at the track.

Cc Brooks Big Boy, Bomb Diggity and Jess Creek Manor completed the field.
