Allyson Wonderland Leads Moosman Barn as Fastest Qualifier to Cowboy State Futurity at Energy Downs

Allyson Wonderland Leads Moosman Barn as Fastest Qualifier to Cowboy State Futurity at Energy Downs

GILLETTE, WY—JUNE 9, 2018— Energy Downs saved the best for last on Saturday afternoon, as the two fastest qualifiers to the Cowboy State Futurity came out of the fifth and final trial. Allyson Wonderland and Jesus Valenzuela posted a final time of 17.802 in the 350-yard trial.

The $50,000-added final will be held at Energy Downs on June 23.

Allyson Wonderland ($4.40) broke her maiden in her trial for the Hadley/Giles Memorial Futurity at Weber Downs. She has now won two races in three lifetime starts.

Allyson Wonderland is by Apollitical Jess and is out of the Corona Cartel mare Just a Fairytale. She is trained by Riley Moosman and was bred in Oklahoma by her owner, Blaine Bateman.

Moosman trained the top four fastest qualifiers. The second-place finisher, Rate Me Hight, was the second fastest qualifier with a final time of 17.972. Rate Me Hight was ridden by Rene Lopez and is owned by Dan and Patricia Baker.

Rate Me Hight was bred in Utah by E.J. Petitti. He is by High Rate Of Return and is out of the Valiant Hero mare Valiant Diamond.

The first trial produced the third-fastest qualifier, Separatefromothers. Separatefromothers ($6.60) and Jesus Valenzuela won their trial by three-quarters of a length with a final time of 17.997.

Separatefromothers, also from the Moosman barn, is owned by Keith Nellesen. McColee Land and Livestock, LLC bred the gelding in Utah, by Corona Cartel, out of the multiple graded stakes winning mare Separate Fire, by Walk Thru Fire.

She is a full brother to Shes Got Fire, the fastest qualifier to the Four Corners Futurity at SunRay Park on June 17.
