Rock On Dynasty Fastest Qualifiers To Turf Paradise Maiden

PHOENIX, AZ—OCTOBER 27, 2018—Rock On Dynasty got an early lead then held well to get the fastest qualifying time Sunday from two trials contested for the Turf Paradise Maiden Stakes (not black type).

Ridden by jockey Juan Ramirez, Rock On Dynasty covered the 350 yards in :17.829 seconds, a 91 speed index, to get the top mark. It was the first career win for the 4-year-old FDD Dynasty gelding racing for owner Carmela Garcia.

Benito Guillen Vega conditions the Oklahoma-bred gelding out of Rock N Zoom by Shazoom. Rock On Dynasty entered the trials from an off-the-board performance in the AQRA Turf Paradise Derby nearly a year ago December 10, 2017.

Bred by Reed Land & Cattle Co. LLC, Rock On Dynasty has compiled a (12) 1-4-1 record and earned $8,392. The top four qualifiers came from the second trial.

The lightly raced Manofmany Talents broke his maiden in the opening trial to get the 5th fastest time of :17.995 seconds. Jockey Emilio Tapia rode the gray son of champion sire Separatist to his first win in three career starts.

Owned-and-trained by Eloy Mendoza, Manofmany Talents was bred in Oregon by Wade and Tessa Siegel from the On A High mare Dorothy Nell. Today was the 4-year-old's first official start in two years.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to Turf Paradise on Sunday, November 11th to vie for the winner's share of a $5,000-added purse going 350 yards.
