The 350-yard final will be held on Sunday, August 11.

Fastest qualifier Royal Cash Flash won the third trial of the day with jockey Jorge Torres aboard.

The Gopher State Futurity is an open futurity. Its predecessor was the North Central Quarter Horse Racing Association Futurity. For 22 years, the NCQHRA Futurity provided a futurity restricted to horses whose owners resided in the North-central region, including states such as Minnesota, Iowa and North and South Dakota.
