Eyesa Special Snoopi Slight Upset In Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity Final

EVANSTON, WY—JULY 28, 2019—Eyesa Special Snoopi (5-1), under jockey Oscar Cervantes, raced to his second career win on Sunday when he defeated posttime favorite Gotta Lotta Papa by one-length in the $34,000 Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity at Wyoming Downs.

The gelded son of Eyesa Special Slim completed the 330 yards in :16.492 seconds, earning a 105 speed index. Trainer Jesse Villegas saddled the Brown Bones Cattle Company homebred out of Lil Charolette Swirl by Sixs Charlie Brown. He took home $15,980 for the effort.

Riley Moosman saddled runner-up Gotta Lotta Papa for owners Ron Moosman and Kathy Moosman. Jockey Valenzuela was aboard.

Bryce Moosman bred the Pappasito filly from the Maknmoves mare Lotta Kat Moves. The winner of the Wyoming All Breeds Racing Association Futurity entered the race with a three-race win streak. She has banked more than $32,000 with 3 wins from five starts.

Reagal Eagle Revenge finished three-quarter back to pick up $3,740 for third. Cordarelton Benn had the riding call for owner-breeder Gerald Kaul. Also trained by Villegas, the chestnut colt is a son of Reagal Eagle from the Beduino Secret mare A Secret Life.

A Lucky Thunder Cat, Ole Toole Man, Cd Makin Us Proud, Jims Highlite, Jess Frilly and Steffies Dashn Moves completed the field.
