CLAREMORE, OK—SEPTEMBER 14, 2019—Catch This Kitty, under jockey Randy Wilson, rolled to a 1-¼ length win over Bg Unleash The Beast in the $35,937 Cricket Bar Futurity, for 2-year-old Appaloosas, Saturday afternoon at Will Rogers Downs.
Saddled by trainer Dee Keener, Catch This Kitty completed the 400 yards in :20.317 seconds, into a 9 mph crosswind, picking up the winner's purse valued a $13,831.
Catch This Kitty races for owner/breeder Jeff Adams. The Oklahoma-bred daughter of Capo de Capi is out of the Panther Mountain mare R Ms Kitty. She has compiled a (7) 2-1-2 record and banked $30,679.
Runner-up Bg Unleash The Beast earned $6,687 for second. Trey Ellis saddled the chestnut son of Takin The Cash out of Proudest Prize by Proudest Effort. Crystal Byers owns the Idaho-bred the 2-year-old. Becky Grant bred the stakes winner of $18,206.
The lightly-raced Queen Corona Kisses finished 1-¾ back to earn $5,390 for third. A Flying Kingofkings homebred racing for owner-breeder Michael Moss, Queen Corona Kisses is out Keegas Coronas Kiss by The Corona. Travis Cunningham had the riding call aboard the Oklahoma-bred.
