Denali Snowflake Establishes Arapahoe Park 100 Yard Track Record

AURORA, CO—JULY 8, 2020—Denali Snowflake, under jockey Alfredo Triana, Jr., established a new 100 yard track record at Arapahoe Park today (Wednesday) when he stopped the clock in :06.46 seconds in the third race, a $10,500 Allowance for 3-Year-Old & Up Quarter Horses.

Saddled by owner-trainer Gerardo Herrera, the 4-year-old son of multiple stakes sire Louisiana Senator defeated Chic To The Top by a neck. Multiple stakes winner Moshi Yoshi was another head back in the blanket finish. A speed index was not available.

Charles Robinson bred the brown filly in Oklahoma from the One Famous Eagle mare One Famous Folly. She has compiled a (12) 4-3-0 record and banked $30,287. Denali Snowflake was fourth in the Mile High Derby at Arapahoe Park last season.

Denali Snowflake returned $11.40 to win, $5.80 to place and $2.40 to show.
