EVANSTON, WY—AUGUST 9, 2020—Second fastest qualifier Hes A Famous Eagle got his second career win on Sunday when he defeated Wilmas Dynasty by a nose in the $27,700 Gary Waite Maiden Stakes (not black type) at Wyoming Downs.

Under jockey Tyson Lusk, Hes A Famous Eagle completed the 330 yards in :15.654 seconds, equaling a 98 speed index into a 5 mph crosswind. It was the biggest career win for the lightly raced 4-year-old son of leading sire One Famous Eagle. The $12,742 winner's purse boosted his career mark to $16,429. Unstarted at 2 and winless last year the brown gelding has now won two consecutive races.

Travis Lusk conditions Hes A Famous Eagle for owner Rod Parkinson. Muller Racing LLC bred the gelding in Texas from the First Down Dash mare Shes The Fashion.

Winner of the Jake Kapp Maiden at Weber Downs in May, runner-up Wilmas Dynasty earned $5,540 for his second-place effort. Riley Moosman conditions the daughter of multiple stakes sire Jr Dynasty Mountain for owner-breeder Michel Clark. Ridden by Cesar Moreno the 3-year-old filly has earned $20,895.

Cd Dark Moon Arisin was a neck off the leaders in the blanket-finish to earn $2,770 for third. Jorge Garfias trains the daughter of champion sire First Moonflash from the Separatist mare Fervent for owners Lee and Carol Daniel. C M Quarter Horses LLC bred Cd Dark Moon Arisin in California. Jesus Canales was riding.

Rsexyseda, Josies Eye, Favorite La Blue, Almost Early, Seis Tales and Chasin Streamers completed the field. Conquest Creek was scratched.
