Owned and raced by Tom Maher, Paintyourownwagon set a new 300 yard track record of :15.236 at Will Rogers Downs when he won the Kansas Jackpot Futurity(RG3). An earner of $103,097 he won or placed in nine races and finished second in the Great Lake Stakes and third in the Canterbury Park Derby.

He was also a finalist in the G2 Sunland Park Winter Futurity, G3 Prairie Meadows Derby, Remington Park Oklahoma Derby, Prairie Meadows Championship, Black Gold Derby, Hialeah Sophomore Invitational and Skip Zimmerman Memorial Stakes.

His sire, Pyc Paint Your Wagon, is currently the #1 Leading Sire of Money Earners of 2012 with $2.95 million through October 9. From only three crops to race Pyc Paint Your Wagon has sired 176 winners(59%), 61 stakes horses(21%) and earners of $7.59 million.
