VILLE PLATTE, LA—SEPTEMBER 17, 2014—California stakes winner First Down King's first crop will race in 2015. The son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash will continue to stand at Blanchet Farms near Ville Platte, Louisiana in 2015. His fee is $1,250 with consideration.

Owned by Dunn Ranch, Ltd., First Down King SI 97 won or placed in 13 of 22 career starts, earning $140,008. He won the Los Alamitos Two Million Juvenile Invitational was second in the California Breeders' Freshman Stakes and third in the Governor's Cup Derby(G2). He was a finalist in the Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1), Golden State Derby(G1), Spencer L. Childers California Breeders' Championship(G1), Los Alamitos Winter Championship(G1) and Kaweah Bar Handicap.

First Down King is out of the G3-placed Mr Jess Perry mare Queen Of Torts SI 108 ($59,663), 2nd in the All American Juvenile(G3). She is the dam of five ROM, two stakes horses including Winter Is Coming SI 91 ($54,322), Dont Doubt The King SI 91 ($39,176), etc. The second dam is the Grade 1 Rainbow Futurity and Derby finalist Fast And Strate SI 97 ($44,133).
