WAYNE, OK—OCTOBER 27, 2016—World champion and leading third crop sire of money earners Apollitical Jess will stand the 2017 season at James Ranch near Wayne, Oklahoma. His fee has been set at $12,000.

With only three crops to race, the son of leading sire Mr Jess Perry is also currently the #2 leading overall sire of money earners in 2016 with $4,260,764 and the $2 leading 2-year-old sire of money earners this year with $3,621,721 through October 25th.

His leading money earner this season is the 2-year-old Ruidoso Futurity(G1) winner and All American Futurity(G1) finalist Apolltical Chad ( 2 wins at 2, $621,226).

Apollitical Jess won the Champion of Champions(G1) while setting a Los Alamitos 440 yard track record of :20.939. He lowered the mark set by champion Jess You And I in the 2008 Champion of Champions(G1) by 1/100ths of a second.

In the race prior to the Champion of Champions(G1), the sorrel stallion set a new 400 course record of :19.133 while winning the Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1) by 1 ˝ lengths.

Trained throughout his career by Juan Aleman and ridden by Eduardo Nicasio, Apollitical Jess was also second by a neck in the 2010 All American Derby(G1) and second by a neck in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity(G1).

The royally bred stallion is out of three-time AQHA Racing champion Apollitical Time ($904,242). The multiple grade 1 daughter of Apollo-TB won 14 races including the Los Alamitos Super Derby(G1), Mildred N Vessels Memorial Handicap(G1), Los Alamitos Invitational Championship(G1) and Governor's Cup Derby(RG1). Also a Champion of Champions finalist (twice), she finished third 2005 to 3-time champion Ocean Runaway.

Apollitical Time is the dam of 4 ROM winners including world champion Apollitical Jess (see above), multiple stakes-placed Rocket And Roll ($50,886 to 5, 2016), Apollitical Rally ($24,417), Panama Wes ($12,566 to 4, 2016), and the granddam of Ed Burke Million Futurity runner-up Oneapolliticalflight ($196,808 to 3, 2016).

The second dam of the grade 3 placed First Down Dash mare Half Time Attraction, dam of 11 ROM including grade 3 placed In His Dreams, a full sister to Apollitical Time, and stakes-placed Halftime Seperator. She is also the grand dam of stakes winner and RG1-placed Political Option ($286,180), G2 winner and multiple stakes sire Sizzlin Cartel ($233,446), All American Juvenile winner Louisiana Blue Dream ($102,442), etc.
