UQHRA is accepting stallions for their 2017 Beehive Stallion Service Auction.

This season's live auction will take place January 14, 2017 at Clarion Gardens, 463 East 100 North in Payson, Utah starting at 3:30 p.m. (MST). UQHRA will again take phone bids. Any stallion that does not sell at the live auction will be by until April 30, 2017 available contacting UQHA Racing secretary Jeannie Hullinger.

"Last year being the most successful year we have ever had we are very excited going into 2017," Hullinger said today. " Once again thanks to all the people that have supported us in the past. The racing here in Utah has been growing and in 2016 we ran six days for a total of $366,000 in purses," she added.

Last year's successful 2016 auction has resulted with a $50,000-added 2018 Beehive Futurity.

"With this growth it puts some value in these Beehive eligible horses. We are very encouraged about our racing industry in the intermountain area," Hullinger says.

UQHRA will again produce a Beehive Stallion Service catalog again this year with all donated stallions to be sent out on requested and will posted on the association website uqhraracing.com as well was on the Utah Quarter Horse Racing facebook page.
