OPELOUSAS, LA—NOVEMBER 10, 2016—Grade 3 multiple stakes winner Exquisite Stride arrived in Louisiana earlier this week to begin preparation for his stallion career in 2017. The son of champion Carters Cartel will stand at Louisiana Center For Equine Reproduction for a fee of $2,000.
Owned by D & S Racing, LLC Exquisite Stride has won or placed in 11 of 13 starts and earned $257,978. He won the Miss Polly Classic (RG3), Evangeline Downs Derby, Esplanade Stakes and was second in the Jerry Jaggars Memorial Stakes in his final career start.

His sire Champion Carters Cartel has sired 240 winners, 65 stakes horses with earners of $7.7 million in five crops to race, including Rainbow Futurity(G1) winner Carters Cookie SI 93 ($359,630), Exquisite Stride SI 98 (see above), Sam Houston Futurity(G2) winner Just Call Me Carter ($218,680 at 2), etc.
Exquisite Stride is out of the Mr Jess Perr mare Tinys Lil Jess, dam of 3 ROM including G3 winner Exquisite Stride SI 98 (see above), Bass Lake SI 110 ($49,223), etc.

Tiny First Down is the dam of 11 ROM including G3-placed First N Final SI 90 ($50,607) and granddam of stakes-placed Summer Dynasty SI 92 ($23,327) and Miss Chicks Perry SI 90.
