VILLE PLATTE, LA—NOVEMBER 24, 2016—Tate Farms announced today 2016's #2 Leading Second Crop Sire of Money Earners One Sweet Jess will stand the 2017 season at their farm in Ville Platte, Louisiana. His fee has been set at $5,500, however persons who book by February 13, 2017 will enjoy a discount to $3,500.

From two crops to race the Grade 1 winning son of leading sire Mr Jess Perry has has sired 101 winners, 26 stakes horses (14%), earners of more than $2.4 million with average earnings per starter of over $13,350.

Among his top performers are 2016 Grade 1 Heritage Place Futurity runner-up Sweet Annie Gl SI 91 (winner at 2, 2016 $266,913), stakes-placed and All American Futurity(G1) finalist Magical Jess SI 96 (2 wins at 2, 2016 $179,250), Texas Classic Derby(G1) runner-up Jess Burnin SI 98 (4 wins to 3, $107,562 and John Deere Juvenile Challenge winner For Sweet Jess SI 105 (7 wins to 3, $78,987).
