A Revenant To 6666 Ranch For 2018 Season

GUTHRIE, TX--MARCH 2, 2018--Crystal Springs Farm's A Revenant, the AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Colt of 2016, has been relocated to 6666 Ranch near Guthrie, Texas.

According to Tom Goncharoff, manager of Crystal Springs Farm in Tularosa, New Mexico where the champion was standing earlier this year, they have a had strong public response to him.

"We have already bred several mares, flushed an embryo here and have a number of pregnancies in New Mexico," Goncharoff told TRACK Magazine's Monday Report. "So we are pleased with his fertility."

"But when the opportunity arose to move the horse to the 6666 Ranch, we all agreed that the Four Sixes was the best place he could be."

Dr. Blodgett evaluated the horse, collected him and reported the stallion had high sperm count and good semen quality," Goncharoff says. "The semen also ships well," he added.

Owned by the partnership of Hubbard, South way, Cope and Rafter W the son of leading sire Mr. Jess Perry won or placed in 4-of-4 starts at 2, earning $604,800. He won the Grade 1 Rainbow Futurity and was second by a head in the Grade 1 Ruidoso Futurity.

His sire Mr Jess Perry has sired 138 stakes winners, 9 champions, with earnings of more than $52 million. A "Sire of Sires", Mr Jess Perry is the sire of 2017 Leading Sire of Money Earners Apollitical Jess and 2017 Leading 2-Year-Old Sire of Money Earners One Famous Eagle.

A Revenant's dam is Rainbow Futurity(G1) winner Thewayouwantmetoo SI 108 by Mr Eye Opener. She is set a new 400-yard track record of :19.209 seconds at Ruidoso Downs. Also, a finalist in the Rainbow Derby(G1) and Ruidoso Derby she earned $327,953.

Thewayouwantmetoo is the dam of 7 ROM, 6 winners including champion A Revenant SI 91 (see above), Rainbow Futurity(G1) runner-up Belle Helene SI 102 ($214,858), G1-placed Luv Supreme Si 92 $202,143), G1-placed The Hiway SI 96 ($156,284), etc.
