Second Crop Sire Im A Fancy Pyc Gets First Stakes Winner

WASHINGTON, OK—APRIL 21, 2019—Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity(RG3) winner and second-crop sire Im A Fancy Pyc got his first stakes winner on Saturday when Fancy Pants Dc won the $68,000 Laico Bird Stakes Saturday night at Remington Park.

Ridden by jockey Cody Smith, Fancy Pants Dc ran down Pepper Ryan to get his nose in front at the wire. Bill Goodnight conditions the gelded son of Im A Fancy Pyc for owner-breeder Shelley Goodnight. The Oklahoma-bred gelding is out of the Corona Cartel mare Dc Cartel. He has won two-of-two career starts and earned $51,640. He broke his maiden at Remington Park March 23.
