ALTOONA, IA—SEPTEMBER 1, 2016—Cr Game Changer, a homebred stakes-placed daughter of Game Patriot racing for Curt Tobin and Dick Tobin, is one of 28 2-year-olds entered in Saturday’s 350-yard John Deere Prairie Meadows Juvenile Challenge trials.
Cr Game Changer is coming off of a second-place finish, a head behind winner Pyc Jess Bite My Dust, in the July 10, 350-yard Mystic Lake Northlands Futurity at Canterbury Park. An earner of $49,452 from four outs, the filly drew post 10 and will be ridden by Brayan Velazquez for trainer Jason Olmstead in the last of three trials.
Olmstead will send out Heza Prospect, a stakes-winning son of champion Prospect To The Top, in the second heat. Leased by The Magnificent 7 LLC, the gelding ships in from Canterbury Park, where he won two of his four starts, including the 350-yard $54,000 North Central Quarter Horse Racing Association Futurity (R) on August 7.
Heza Prospect will be ridden by Velazquez from post 2.
The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the September 17, $40,000-added John Deere Prairie Meadows Juvenile Challenge final.
