CLAREMORE, OK—OCTOBER 22, 2016—Redneck Sis dueled to a neck win over Rc Corona in the $29,603 Cherokee Challenge Stakes Saturday afternoon at Will Rogers Downs. Jess Coronation finished a neck back in the blanket finish to take third.

Ridden by jockey Randy Wilson, the 8-year-old daughter of Sc Chiseled In Stone completed the 300 yards in :15.561 seconds into a 10 mph crosswind to earn a 91-speed index. Trainer Bonnie Wilson saddled the multiple stakes winning mare to her 12th career win in 50 starts. The $17,654 winner's purse boosted her career mark to just under $200,000.

An Oklahoma homebred racing for Jack B. Wilson, Redneck Sis is out of the Pals Real Royalcross mare Dads Sassy Sissy.

Rc Corona just missed for owner Jamie Jordan and trainer Juliana Mancillas. Cody Wainscott rode the Rock Solid Jess horse out of Shakiras Dash, by Corona Cartel. Bred in Alabama by Paris Wixom, Rc Corona earned $5,404.

Multiple stakes-placed Just Coronation races for owner Sergio Covarrubias and trainer Erik Rodriguez-Garcia. Noel Lopez Prieto bred the Coronas Prospect filly in Oklahoma from the Strawflyin Buds mare Nocoronajustbud. Ridden by Jesus Salazar, Just Coronation picked up $3,327 for the effort.

Win Rabbits Fly, Sixes Streak, Toodles Flies Free and Kansas Morning completed the field.
