Katies Easy Moves Rallies to Win AQHA/Wyoming Horse Racing Bonus Challenge

OGDEN, UT—MAY 6, 2017—Ridden by jockey Jordan Hadley, Katies Easy Moves defeated Jrs Blue Boy by a 1½ lengths in the $11,055 AQHA/Wyoming Horse Racing Bonus Challenge (not black type) at Weber Downs Saturday. La Guanavana finished a neck back in the show position.

Saddled by trainer Jessica Hadley, Katies Easy Move raced over the 350-yard course in :17.839 seconds, an 87-speed index into a 5-mph headwind. It as the seventh career victory for the 4-year-old son of multiple stakes sire Maknmoves.

Racing for O-So Smart LLC and breeder Walter Finder, Katies Easy Moves picked up $5,527 to boost her earnings total to $48,711. Finder bred the multiple stakes winner in Utah from the Lanes Leinster mare Katie Lane Finder. She has earned $48,711.

Also, a multiple stakes winner, runner-up Jrs Blue Boy races for owner/breeder Sam Allie and trainer Riley Moosman. Jockey Jesus Valenzuela rode the Fantastic Corona Jr 4-year-old out of the Dash Ta Fame mare Lil Blue Blitz. He earned $3,317 for the effort.

La Guanavana aces for owner/trainer Samuel Christensen. Oscar Cervantes rode the Makin A Wonder filly out of Mgs Fly By by Strawflyin Buds. Bred in Utah by Enrique Escobedo, she earned $2,211.

Shez A Motor Scooter, Sweet American Honey, Shoe Me Bofum, My Fair Dashair, Tilt James and Alegendinmytime completed the field.
