Merial Sun Downs Distaff Challenge Set for Sunday

KENNEWICK, WA—MAY 7, 2017—A full field of 10 fillies and mares, topped by morning-line favorite Klassic Secret Br, has been entered back in Sunday’s 400-yard, $25,020 Merial Sun Downs Distaff Challenge Stakes.

Klassic Secret Br is a 5-year-old daughter of Fantastic Corona Jr owned and trained by Juan C. Sanguino. The mare has won her last two starts, including the first of two trials on April 23. Klassic Secret Br drew post 2 and will be ridden by Salvador Ibarra.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the October 14, $105,000 Merial Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Prairie Meadows. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments and morning-line odds--
