GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA—AUGUST 4, 2017—Stole An Encore, an Oklahoma-bred daughter of Ivory James owned by Ralph Danard and Carrie Suitor, is one of 15 2-year-olds entered in Saturday's John Deere Grand Prairie Juvenile Challenge trials at Evergreen Park.
Trained by Laurie Ferguson, Stole An Encore has earned $3,126 from just two outs. The filly is coming off of a fourth-place finish in the 300-yard, $23,000 Jerry Stojan Futurity on July 23.
Stole An Encore drew post 5 and will be ridden by Martin Ortiz in the first of two 350-yard trials.
The fastest qualifiers will meet in the $18,500-added final on August 20.
