ELY, NV—AUGUST 19, 2018—Multiple stakes winner Rtm Mr Caccia raced to a new stakes record Sunday when he defeated stable-mate Sign Of Corona by a neck in the $11,130 Ely/AQHA Bonus Challenge Stakes (not black type) at White Pines Racing.

Ridden by jockey Rene Gutierrez, Rtm Mr Caccia completed the 400 yards in :19.857 seconds, equaling a 107-speed index, over the fast racecourse. The gray gelding just missed the White Plains Racing track record of :19.749 seconds, set by Specials Gold on August 21, 2016, by .108 hundreds,.

Trainer Mark Hanson saddled the son of All American Futurity(G1) winner No Secrets Here for owner RTM Stables LLC. Susan T. Hanson bred the 6-year-old in Idaho from the Dashin Is Easy mare Shirleys Secret.

Rtm Mr Caccia has compiled a (26) 9-8-5 record and the Ely/AQHA Bonus Challenge winners' purse valued at $6,121 boosted his earnings mark to more than $74,000.

Hanson also saddled runner-up Sign Of Corona, for RTM Stable and Carol McKinney. Bred in New Mexico by Craig Creager, the 7-year-old Coronas Fast Dash gelding is out of Electric Sign by Vital Sign.
