Is There More Seeks First Stakes Victory in Bitterroot Futurity at Les Bois Park

BOISE, ID—JULY 2, 2015—Steve Wright’s Is There More, a bay daughter of champion Carters Cartel trained by Monty Arrossa and the fastest qualifier, is the 5-2 morning-line favorite for Saturday’s 350-yard, $171,985 Bitterroot Futurity at Les Bois Park.

Is There More broke her maiden with a one-length victory as the 4-5 favorite in the second of 11 trials on June 19. An earner of $3,371 from three outs, the filly was a finalist in the $36,000 Knight Transportation Futurity at Les Bois on June 3.

Is There More drew post 3 and will be ridden by Nikeela Black.

Other contenders include Pappas In The House, a gelded son of Pappasito trained by James Hanson for owners Rob Evans and Hanson Racing LLC. Pappas In The House has won two of three races and has banked $7,152, and his record includes a third-place finish, three-quarters of a length behind winner Famous Cartel Lady, in the Knight Transportation Futurity.

Eddie Aceves will ride Pappas In The House from the rail post.
