SHAKOPEE, MN—JULY 23, 2016—B A Mighty Dream and Faster Than Hasta are among the 46 2-year-olds entered in Sunday’s 350-yard North Central Quarter Horse Racing Association Futurity (R) trials at Canterbury Park.

A sorrel daughter of the Valiant Hero stallion Mighty B Valiant trained by Victor Hanson for owner Brenda Reiswig, B A Mighty Dream has earned $32,532 from four outs, and she was a finalist in the 330-yard, $888,000 Remington Park Futurity (RG2) for Oklahoma-bred juveniles on April 23.

B A Mighty Dream drew the rail post and will be ridden by Stormy Smith in the second of five trials.

Faster Than Hasta is coming off of a half-length victory in the July 10, 350-yard Minnesota Stallion Breeders Futurity (R) at Canterbury Park. The gelded son of the Pritzi Dash stallion Hasta Be Fast is trained by Bob Johnson for owner John G. Johnson.

David Pinon will ride Faster Than Hasta from post 3 in the first heat.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the $20,000-added NCQHRA Futurity final on August 7.
