LOS ALAMITOS, CA—FEBRUARY 11, 2017—A stakes winner at the ages of two and three, Steve Burns’ Little Talks will look to become a stakes winner now as a 4-year-old mare when she heads the running of the $25,000 Denim N Diamonds Handicap on Saturday night.

Trained by Mike Casselman, the daughter of Favorite Cartel will be going after her eighth win in 15 career start. In addition to her stakes wins, Little Talks finished third in the Grade 1 Charger Bar Handicap in her first start of 2017 and has also run in the Governor’s Cup Futurity, Adequan California Derby Challenge and Z. Ed Allred’s Bemused will enter the Denim N Diamonds after posting on January 20th one of the most impressive 300-yard wins record at Los Alamitos over the past five years.

The 6-year-old mare by Separatist covered the distance in :15.16 over a wet fast track and a tail wind of 25 miles per hour.
