He Is The Risingstar to Make Remington Debut in SLM Big Daddy

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 16, 2017—Fulton Quien Sabe Ranches’ He Is The Risingstar will put his perfect record at the distance on the line in Saturday’s 550-yard, $50,000 SLM Big Daddy Stakes at Remington Park.

A 5-year-old son of Mr Jess Perry trained by Paul Jones, He Is The Risingstar brings in a two-race win streak that includes the 550-yard, $20,000 Paul B. Ford Handicap on December 9, and the 550-yard, $20,000 Barbra B Handicap on January 20, both at Los Alamitos. All told, the gelding has won four of his four outs at the 550 distance.

He Is The Risingstar drew post 4 and will be ridden by Cesar DeAlba.

Reigning AQHA champion trainer Judd Kearl will send out Eyesa Shoofly Dandy, a 6-year-old Gold Medal Jess gelding owned by Curtis Smith and Steve Holt. Eyesa Shoofly Dandy will be shortening in distance off of his wire-to-wire, one-length victory in the 870-yard, $15,000 Marathon Stakes at Louisiana Downs on January 7.

Rodrigo Vallejo will ride Eyesa Shoofly Dandy from post 9.
