Fastest qualifier Jess Ta Fied will return Saturday in the $20,000 Piggin String Stakes at Rillito Park.

TUCSON, AZ—MARCH 17, 2017—Jess Ta Fied, a 4-year-old One Sweet Jess gelding owned by Cynthia Gonzalez and the fastest qualifier, is one of eight sprinters entered back in Saturday’s 300-yard, $20,000 Piggin String Stakes at Rillito Park.

Jess Ta Fied is coming off of a neck victory in the first of two trials on March 4. An earner of $17,993 from 12 outs, the gelding drew post 5 and will be ridden by Emilio Tapia for trainer Roy Ronquillo.
