Recking Ball was the fastest qualifier in the April 23rd Pot O'Gold trials at Sun Downs.

KENNEWICK, WA—MAY 6 2017—San Gregorio Racing Stable Inc.’s Recking Ball, a gray daughter of One Dashing Eagle and the fastest qualifier, is the 2-1 morning-line favorite for Sunday’s 300-yard, $28,318 NQHRA Pot O’ Gold Futurity at Sun Downs.

Trained by Danny Montes, Recking Ball made her debut with a three-quarter length victory in the first of four trials on April 23. The homebred filly drew post 3 and will be ridden by Cesar Franco.

Kool Odds, the second-fastest qualifier, is trained by Mark Hanson for owners Hanson Racing LLC and Robin D. Dunn. A $19,000 purchase at last year’s Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City, the Favorite Cartel colt drew post 4 and will be ridden by Eddie Aceves.
