LOS ALAMITOS, CA—SEPTEMBER 2, 2017—The millionaire He Looks Hot and 2015 World Champion Heza Dasha Fire, the 1-2 finishers, respectively, in the Restricted Grade 1 Spencer Childers California Breeders Championship Handicap on July 30, face-off again for the second time in slightly over a month when they headline a star-studded eight-horse field in the Grade 1, $100,000 Go Man Go Handicap on Sunday at Los Alamitos.

The Go Man Go could give its winner a berth to this year's $750,000 Champion of Champions, as long as there are no dead-heats in any of the other races that award its winner a Champion of Champions berth.

Owned and bred by Ed Allred and trained by Scott Willoughby, He Looks Hot is coming off of one of his best races ever in the Spencer Childers. The gelded son of Walk Thru Fire outduled Heza Dasha Fire in that race, as he posted the meet's fastest 400-yard time of :19.509.

He Looks Hot has had a tremendous career that includes a victory over Heza Dasha Fire in the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity and a win in the Grade 1 Vessels Maturity which earned him a berth into last year's Champion of Champions. A four-time stakes winner, He Looks Hot has earned $1,058,614 in his career. Carlos Huerta will ride the California-bred from post number three.

Trained by Jose Flores for S-Quarter K LLC, Heza Dasha Fire won the 2015 Champion of Champions and was second in last year's race. The son of Walk Thru Fire will be looking for his 14th win in 19 career starts and a victory in the Go Man Go would leave him at the cusp of reaching the $2 million mark in career earnings.

Heza Dasha Fire enters the Go Man Go with a $1,941,237 bankroll. The winner of the Go Man Go will earn approximately $47,000. Cruz Mendez will pilot the Walk Thru Fire gelding from post number three.

Trainer Mike Robbins will have three outstanding runners in the Go Man Go in 2016 Los Alamitos Super Derby winner Big Lew, 2017 Bank of America California Championship winner Flash N Bling, and 2017 Vessels Maturity runner-up The Charm of Corona, all three owned by Reliance Ranches LLC.

Dr Jess, We Like Corona and Mr PYC To You will complete the field.
