Ten Indiana-Breds Entered in Hoosier Park Classic Stakes

SHELBYVILLE, IN—OCTOBER 5, 2017—Ten Indiana-bred sprinters, headed by Carolyn Bruce’s Stinkin Rich, have been entered in Friday’s 400-yard, $75,000 Hoosier Park Classic Stakes (R) at Indiana Grand.

A homebred 5-year-old One Famous Eagle gelding trained by Matt Frazier, Stinkin Rich has won both of his starts this season and is coming off of a half-length victory in the August 25, 400-yard Bob Woodward Memorial Stakes (R). Stinkin Rich drew post 6 and will be ridden by Rolando Pina.

Wh Kenny G, a 4-year-old son of Gold Medal Jess racing for Robert A. Ray and trainer Ronald Brown, drew post 9 and will be ridden by Harold Collins. The gelding has won two of five starts during the current Indiana Grand meet, including the 400-yard, $53,000 Bradford Stakes (R) on July 8.
