PORTLAND, OR—DECEMBER 3, 2017—Carrying co-high weights, Eyes Movin and Quattro Dude will meet in Monday’s 870 Holiday Handicap worth $11,000 added in the day’s second race.

Charlene Whiteside’s Quattro Dude will look to close the deal after taking back to back runner-up spots in his last two starts among allowance rivals. Regular rider Kassie Guglielmino will guide the five-year-old son of Jumpn Chic in the dash toting the co-high weight of 126 lbs.

Don Young’s owned-and-trained Eyes Movin will carry the second half of the co-top weight as the ten year old son of Mr Eye Opener will make his 110th start lifetime. Jake Samuels will get the leg up atop the speedy grey gelding after he recently knocked off an $8,000 claiming group at Portland Meadows on October 22nd.

The last stakes appearance Eyes Movin made was a stakes placed effort in The Distance Challenge at Emerald Downs last August.

A field of seven are slated to head to the gate in the early Monday sprint.
