OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 7, 2018—Jack Smith Farms’ Hes Limitless, a son of Corona Cartel and a finalist in last year’s All American Futurity (G1), is one of 57 Oklahoma-bred 3-year-olds entered in Sunday’s 400-yard $347,400 Remington Park Derby (RG3) trials at Remington Park.

Trained by John Stinebaugh, Hes Limitless will be making his sophomore debut in the first of six trials. The gelding has earned $218,128 from five outs, and his resume includes a fourth-place finish, 1 3/4 lengths behind winner Fly Baby Fly, in the September 4, $3-million All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs.

Hes Limitless is out of the AQHA Racing Champion filly Pj Chick in Black by Desirio. Agustin Silva will ride Hes Limitless from post 7.

Other prominent state-bred sophomores entered in the Remington Park Derby trials include Political Attraction, a gelded son of Apollitical Jess who ended his 2-year-old campaign with a four-race winning streak.

Trained by Amanda Tongay for owners Rogelio Marquez Jr. and Kathy Robinson, Political Attraction has banked $273,017 from seven starts, and his four wins include last year’s 350-yard, $214,000 Speedhorse Futurity (G3) at Fair Meadows at Tulsa, and 350-yard, $283,000 Black Gold 350 Futurity (RG3) at Will Rogers Downs.

Political Attraction drew post 6 and will be ridden by James Flores in the sixth heat.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Sunday’s trials will meet in the $130,000-added Remington Park Derby final on April 21.
