TULSA, OK—JULY 10, 2018—Jermaine Jackson’s Mary Janes Hero, a stakes winner during the Remington Park spring meet, is one of 92 2-year-olds entered in Friday’s 350-yard Speedhorse Futurity (G3) trials at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.

A sorrel daughter of Valiant Hero trained by Rodrigo Covarrubias, Mary Janes Hero is coming off of a nose victory at odds of 16-1 in the 330-yard, $70,000 FL Lady Bug Stakes (R) for Oklahoma-breds on May 28. The filly drew post 4 and will be ridden by Jesus Salazar in the seventh of 10 trials.

Fly N Tell, a homebred Coronado Cartel filly owned and trained by Robert Esqueda, drew the rail post and will be ridden by Daniel Torres in the eighth heat. Fly N Tell has earned $46,594 from six outs, all in Oklahoma, and her two wins include a one-length victory at odds of 29-1 in the 350-yard, $50,000 Easy Jet Stakes (RG3) at Remington Park on June 2.

Trainer Guillermo Valdivia will send out Pops Tempting Wagon in the fifth trial. A son of champion Tempting Dash owned by Gabriel Gutierrez and Bernardo Martinez, the colt will be making his first start since March 24, when he ran fourth, a half of length behind winner Long Wagon Ho, in the 300-yard, $371,000 Oklahoma Futurity (G3) at Remington Park.

Pops Tempting Wagon drew post 9 and will be ridden by Rolando Raudales.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the $85,000-added Speedhorse Futurity final on July 28.
