IDAHO FALLS, ID—JULY 19, 2018—He Looks Royal, a gray son of Royal Shake Em trained by Mark Hanson for owners RTM Stables LLC, Larry Chapple, and Dick Wasia, drew post 10 for Friday’s 350-yard, $21,737 Idaho Cup Futurity (R) at Sandy Downs.

The fastest qualifier, He Looks Royal is coming off of a one-length victory as the 3-10 favorite in the second of three Idaho Cup Futurity trials on the Fourth of July. The gelding will be ridden by Jesus Canales.

The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments and morning-line odds:

Also on Friday, Larry Chapple’s Dashair Special is one of 10 state-bred sophomores entered back in the 400-yard, $18,072 Idaho Cup Derby (R). A homebred son of Dashair trained by Mark Hanson, the gelding has won all three of his outs this season, including the first of two trials on July 4. Dashair Special drew post 9 and will be ridden by Jesus Canales.
