MALAD CITY, ID—AUGUST 3, 2018—Thirty-seven 2-year-olds, headed by three-time stakes winner Rob That Wagon, have been entered in Saturday’s 300-yard Oneida County Fair Futurity trials.
Trained by Mark Hanson for owners RTM Stables LLC and Robin D. Dunn, Rob That Wagon has earned $61,313 from six races, and his three stakes wins include a three-quarter length score in the 350-yard, $93,000 Bitterroot Futurity (R) at Sandy Downs on June 22. The Pyc Paint Your Wagon gelding drew post 3 and will be ridden by Nikeela Black in the first of six trials.
Abelardo Gonzalez’s Dust A Tac, a stakes-winning son of Tac It Like A Man trained by Luis H. Gonzalez, drew post 4 and will be ridden by Jesus Canales in the fifth heat. The bay gelding has banked $30,664 from five outs, and his three wins include a neck victory in the 300-yard, $36,000 Dixie Downs Futurity in Utah on April 21.
The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the $25,000-est. Oneida County Fair Futurity final on August 12.
