ROCK SPRINGS, WY—SEPTEMBER 8, 2018—Mighty B Royal, a Mighty B Valiant gelding racing for Elsha McGarry and trainer Ross Brown, is one of 10 2-year-olds entered back in Sunday’s 350-yard, $15,000-added WHR Open Futurity at Sweetwater Downs.

The fastest qualifier, Mighty B Royal is coming off of a one-length victory in the second of three trials on August 25. The gelding has earned $19,771 from six starts, and his record includes a third-place finish in the 350-yard, $110,000 Cowboy State Futurity at Energy Downs in June.

Mighty B Royal drew post 3 and will be ridden by Uriel Dominguez.

Also on Sunday, Richard Dolbow’s Chloes Smoke N Fame drew post 4 for the 350-yard, $15,000 Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Futurity (R). A daughter of the Dash For Perks stallion Smoke N Sparks trained by Chad Giles, the filly has earned $27,839 from five races, and her three wins include the 300-yard, $65,000 Wyoming Bred Futurity (R) at Energy Downs on June 14. Cordarelton Benn will ride Chloes Smoke N Fame.
