ROCKY VIEW, ALBERTA, CANADA—OCTOBER 18, 2018—Singles Cruise, a multiple stakes winning daughter of Favorite Cartel owned by Barry and Janice Sather, is one of 10 2-year-olds entered back in Sunday’s 400-yard, $40,000-added Canada Cup Futurity (RG3) at Century Downs.

Trained by Janice Sather, Singles Cruise has earned $26,672 from six starts, and her four wins include a half-length victory in the 300-yard, $20,000 Jerry Stojan Futurity on July 27, and a one-length score in the 350-yard, $31,000 John Deere Evergreen Park Juvenile Challenge on August 19. The filly drew post 10 and will be ridden by Caesar Cervantes.

Tony L. Laczo’s Timbersknightryder, a gelded son of First Timber trained by James Doolin, drew post 3 and will be ridden by Ramiro Castillo. Timbersknightryder has won three of five outs, including the 350-yard, $59,000 Alberta Bred Futurity (RG3) at Century Downs on September 22, and he has banked $26,805.

Also on Sunday, Dale Zukowski’s Bringonthewave heads a field of 10 sophomores entered back in the 400-yard, $20,000 Canada Cup Derby (R). A gray son of world champion Wave Carver trained by James Doolin, the gelding has his last two starts, including the 400-yard, $36,000 Alberta Bred Derby (R) on September 22. Bringonthewave drew post 2 and will be ridden by Ramiro Castillo.
