PORTLAND, OR—NOVEMBER 10, 2018—In the 4th race on Monday at Portland, Quarter Horses will sprint 870 yards around the "hook" at the Meadows.

Though primarily a Quarter Horse event, the morning line favorite of the contest is a Thoroughbred, Ozark Daredevil.

Trained by Mary Tate for Bailey & Tate, the five year old son of Portobello Road will be guided by Leonel Camacho Flores.

Ozark Daredevil just scored at 870 yards in his last start but must overcome the dreaded outside post in Monday’s dash.

BH Country Chrome should benefit from an inner post position after drawing the outside post in a stakes at Prineville. The Paint son of Country Quick Dash is owned-and-trained by Jose Sanguino.

Quattro Dude poses a big threat but will need a top effort for owner-trainer Charlene Whiteside. Robert Burney rides Quattro Dude for Trainer Whiteside.

Post time is 12 noon Pacific for the nine race card. Parking and admission are free.
