Schooling races for 2-year-olds will continue this week at Remington Park with nine races carded on Wednesday and Thursday.

Remington Park Continues Schooling Races on Wednesday and Thursday

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 12, 2019—Remington Park will continue schooling races for 2-year-olds on Wednesday and Thursday this week with a nine-race card set on each day.

First post each day is 11 a.m. (CST). All races will be conducted at a distance of 250 yards. A number 2018 summer sale graduates will be making their debuts over the two days.

A pair of Heritage Place Sale graduates will face off in Race 7 on Wednesday. Ec Greys Anatomy, a $30,000 graduate, will start for trainer Dee Kenner from Post 3. Uncomparable Racing owns the Valiant Hero gelding out of the Grade 1-placed Fly Jess Fly mare Cr Sugar N Spice, a half-sister to stakes winner and G1-placed Pyc Kant Katch Me.

Trainer Guillermo Valdivia will saddle the Corona Cartel colt Clean Brew from Post 5 for owner H & E Ranch. The $35,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate is out of grade 3 winner Theslatesclean by Corona Cocktail. She is the dam of Grade 3 Miss Princess Handicap winner The Streakin Clean.

Race 9 on Wednesday will feature a daughter of Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity winner Im A Fancy Pyc from the Oklahoma Futurity(G3) winner Adolph Tres Knockout by Tres Seis. Eddie Lee Willis conditions the $28,000 Heritage graduate, who is half-brother to Black Gold 350 Futurity winner As And Js, for owner Bella Vista Farms, LLC.

On Thursday Eddie Lee Willis will saddle $25,000 Heritage Yearling Sale graduate Dominating Knockout in Race 2 for the partnership of Willis, Garcia, BWI and SCH. Also a foal out of aforementioned Oklahoma Futurity(G3) winner Adolph Tres Knockout, the sorrel colt is by grade 1 sire Dominyun. This is the family of All American Futurity(G1) winners Falling In Loveagain and Possum Jet.

In the same race Kevin Brown's First Knight, a colt by champion sire First Moonflash, will start from Post 6 for trainer Jimmy B. Padgett, III. The $26,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate is out of stakes winner Azoom Babe by Azoom. First Night is a half-brother to Rainbow Derby(G1) winner Valiant Rogue and Evangeline Downs Futurity winner Corona Ranger.

Race 4 will feature $34,000 Heritage Place Sale Graduate Pyc Prize Tyme, a Mr Jess Perry colt from the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Pyc Prize Doll, a sister to multiple stakes winner Fast Prize Jordan. Samuel Valdivia trains the 2-year-old for owners Julio Gonzalez and James Fobber.

Three summer sale graduates will face each other in Race 8. Padgett, III will saddle $35,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale repurchase Df Our Last Opener for Darling Farms. The Mr Eye Opener colt is out of Ourlastpants by Check Him Out. The second dam, Beat Your Pants Off, is an AQHA Dam of Distinction who produced Champions Jumping Tac Flash and Splash Bac

Elizabeth Logan's Ec Revenge will start from Post 3 for trainer Dee Keener in Race 8. The $25,000 Heritage Place Yearling graduate is by first-crop sire and champion Hes Relentless from the Corona Cartel mare Ss Pamilla, a sister to Speedhorse Derby(G3) winner Ss Calendar Girl. The second dam is Remington Park Futurity(G1) winner First Prize Robin by Mr Jess Perry. This is the family of AQHA all-time leading sire First Down Dash.

Trainer Mike Robbins will saddle Reliance Ranches LLC's Always Charging, a gelding by last year's #2 first-crop sire Coronado Cartel out of Charm Dance by First Down. Dash. The half-brother to Laico Bird Stakes winner The Char Of Corona sold for $23,000 in the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. The second dam produced AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Gelding Leading Spirit and four other black type runners.
