$90,000 Heritage Place Yearling Repurchase Debuts in Thursday Training Races at Remington Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 26, 2019—A $90,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale repurchase will face two other sale graduates on Thursday as Remington Park is set to host another seven training races for 2-year-old Quarter Horse, Paints and Appaloosas.

First post is 11 a.m. with all races to be run over 250 yards.

Trainer Jimmy Padgett II saddles $90,000 Heritage Place Yearling repurchase DF Mischievous Jess in race 2 for the DF Mischievous Jess Partners. The colt by leading sire Apollitical Jess is out Mischievous Player, a Corona Cartel half-sister to two-time champion and world champion sire FDD Dynasty and All American Juvenile winner JM Mister Destiny. This is also the family of champion and first-crop sire Apollitical Blood.

Apollitical J Julia, a daughter of Apollitical Jess, starts in race 2 for trainer Stacy Charette-Hill from the 6 post. Kent Jackson owns the $25,000 Heritage Place sale graduate from a TR Dasher half-sister to Grade 1 winner Louisiana Senator.

Also in race 2 is the One Famous Eagle filly Dd Express. Trainer Guillermo Valdivia conditions the filly, from the stakes winning FDD Dynasty mare Miss Southern DD, for owner Salvador Cervantes. This is the immediate family of Remington Park Championship(G1) winner Priceless Feature and Ruidoso Futurity(G1) winner Uptown Dynasty. The bay filly sold in the September Heritage Place Yearling Sale for $21,000.

In the opening race Thursday Padgett will start Shez Relentless Dash for owner Byanco O. Arreola from post 7. The $37,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling graduate is by leading sire One Famous Eagle from the Strawfly Special mare This Dreams Flying, the dam of three black-type including champion and first-crop sire Hes Relentless.

Trainer Heath Taylor will saddle Zoom Kiss, a colt by champion and first-crop sire Kiss My Hocks for owners William Smith and Ky Luddington in Race 4. The gelding from the Grade 1 winning Shazoom mare Fast Prize Zoom is a half-brother to West Texas Futurity winner Jess Prize Me. The $24,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling repurchase's second dam is the Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner Fast First Prize.

Another Ruidoso repurchase, Making Me Famous, will start in Race 4 for trainer Samuel Valdivia and owner/breeder Weetona Stanley. The $22,000 buy-back by leading sire One Famous Eagle is a sister to stakes-placed Eagle First. She is out of the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Pyc First Prize Dash, a half-sister to four Grade 1 winners.

Charette-Hill will start $24,000 Ruidoso Select graduate Sizzlin Chick Corona in the Race 7 for owner M.C. "Skip" Stucks. The Pyc Paint Your Wagon filly out of stakes-placed Mr Jess Perry mare Financial Leverage and is a half-sister to 2018 Hobbs America Derby(G3) winner Believe Me Irene.
